The Possible End to the COVID-19 Pandemic

The unfortunate surge of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) has led to the systematic shutdown of private and public sectors locally and on a global scale. As a result, medical experts have been working around the clock to curb the rapid spread of the virus and treat those who were tested positive; this tactic has been effective in repressing the upsurge in some countries, but it remains radical in other parts of the world.

Nevertheless, all hope is not lost, the quest in search of a vaccine might come to a halt soon, all thanks to a religious organization in South Korea. The church, popularly known as Shincheonji (or Shincheonji Church of Jesus), said that 4,000 of its members, who recovered from COVID-19 are willing to donate plasma for developing a state-of-the-art treatment. This generous aid will rapidly accelerate the procurement of a vaccine much earlier than we originally anticipated.

In the meantime, stay safe out there and continue to keep the required social distance.
